Baby Lady Falcons and Junior Growling Tigresses have named Season 82 Girls Basketball co-champions in the UAAP.
With the cancellation of the remaining events due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the UAAP Season 82, the winner-take-all Girls’ Basketball game between Adamson University and Santo Tomas University will no longer be played.
As such, Adamson Baby Lady Falcons and UST Junior Growling Tigresses was announced co-champions in the demonstration of sport and knotted this series before cancellation.
UST took game one, 73-68, before Adamson forced a 79-74 game 2 victory in a rubber match.
Meanwhile, De La Salle-Zobel (3rd, 2-4) and Ateneo High School (4th, 0-6) also played in such a tournament’s first staging of the season.
